AllOne begins with people.
Before the land, the houses and the villages, there is one person starting out and recording what he does. Anyone who wants to follow, contribute or build is welcome — with no promises of a timeline.
Choose the depth that suits you today.
None is better than another, and moving between them is normal. Someone who only wants to follow along is as welcome as someone who wants to help found it.
Follow along
You get a message when there is real news — no more than one a month, and none at all if nothing has happened. Nothing is asked of you in return.
Contribute
You share knowledge, time, contacts or experience whenever it suits you. No schedule, no obligation, no commitment to keep going.
Help found it
Staying in the core that will, when the time comes, write the rules, choose the land and carry responsibility. It takes sustained time, patience with uncertainty and a willingness to sit with conflict.
What happens after you write.
Spelled out, because uncertainty on this point is what stops most people.
- You get a personal reply Written by a person, usually within a few days. There is no marketing sequence — only the automatic receipt confirming your message arrived.
- We talk, if you want to A call or an exchange of messages, at your pace. You may also prefer not to, and simply follow along.
- You find out what is happening If there is a gathering, a step forward or a change of direction, you hear about it by email. There is no schedule, because there is no schedule.
- No money is asked of you Not now, and not as a condition of taking part. If a financial model ever exists, it will be put in writing and discussed before any decision.
- You leave whenever you want One email is enough for us to delete your details and stop all contact.
Four concrete things.
You need no land, no money and no answers. Any one of these helps more than it looks.
A community is a living system.
There is room for technical, human, creative and relational contributions. If your field is missing from this list, it is probably because I simply have not thought of it yet.
And one thing is worth more than any skill on this list: someone willing to say out loud when they think we are getting it wrong.
